Origin of Late Mesozoic igneous rocks in Southeastern China: implications for lithosphere subduction and underplating of mafic magmas

TL;DR: In this article, the authors suggest that during the period from 180 to 80 Ma, the slab dip angle of Paleo-Pacific plate subduction underneath SE China increased from a very low angle to a median angle, and the magmatic activity of the SE China continental margin migrated oceanward to the southeast.

Sequence of Multiple Slope Failures in the Headwall Area of the Giant Sahara Slide Complex at the NW African Continental Margin

TL;DR: In this article , the authors reconstructed the history of slope failures that led to the formation of the structurally and morphologically complex headwall area of the Sahara Slide, revealing a complex slide morphology including three main acoustic facies, large scale slide blocks, linear troughs, multiple glide planes and three major headwall scarps.
