Journal ArticleDOI

Study on catalytic efficiency of platinum and silver nanoparticles confined in nanosized channels of a 3-D mesostructured silica

TL;DR: A scalable route to encapsulate homogeneously fine Pt and Ag nanoparticles inside amine-functionalized KIT-6 mesochannels via two different reduction routes as heterogeneous mesoporous catalysts is demonstrated in this article.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluation of Zn Adenine-Based Bio-MOF for Efficient Remediation of Different Types of Dyes

TL;DR: In this article , Zn-adeninate bio-metal-organic framework (bio-MOF) was investigated as an efficient adsorbent for both anionic and cationic dyes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Green synthesis of carbon quantum dots toward highly sensitive detection of formaldehyde vapors using QCM sensor.

TL;DR: In this article , an eco-friendly method for the preparation of carbon quantum dots (CQDs) is demonstrated using hydrothermal treatment of laurel leaves, where optical and structural characteristics of the prepared CQDs are investigated using transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron (XPS), fluorescent and UV-visible spectroscopies, Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and x-ray diffraction (XRD).
Journal ArticleDOI

Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Dots in Zeolitic Imidazolate Framework Core-Shell Nanocrystals: Synthesis and Characterization

TL;DR: In this paper , a novel zeolitic imidazolate framework (ZIF) was synthesized by encapsulating N-doped carbon quantum dots (N-CDs) with a blue FL into the core-shell structure.
