Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of oxidation state, pH, and counterion on the conductivity of polyaniline
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis and electrochemistry of alkyl ring-substituted polyanilines
TL;DR: Polymerisation electrochimique de l'aniline sur une electrode d'or ou de platine dans une solution d'acide chlorhydrique.
Journal ArticleDOI
A study of the mechanism of aniline polymerization
TL;DR: In this paper, a mechanism of polymerization of aniline is proposed and the tetramer is used as starting material for polymerization under the same conditions as polyamide polymerization, however, direct coupling of two tetramers leading to polymer is not observed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Flow visualization in parallel-plate ducts with corrugated walls
TL;DR: For flow visualization o-cresolphthalein was found to be superior to thymol blue as an electrode-activated pH indicator because its slower reverse reaction results in better colour retention; its poor solubility was overcome by using a 50:50 water-ethanol mixture as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Conduction mechanisms in polyaniline (emeraldine salt)
TL;DR: In this article, the conductive emeraldine salt form of polyaniline features a partially filled valence band and the conductivity of the electronic states is evaluated from linear sweep voltammetry data on the further assumption that charge transport occurs via a hopping mechanism.
