Journal ArticleDOI

[Clinical and coagulation characteristics in 7 patients with critical COVID-2019 pneumonia and acro-ischemia].

TL;DR: The existence of hypercoagulation status in critical COVID-2019 patients with acro-ischemia should be monitored closely, and anticoagulation therapy can be considered in selected patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antiphospholipid Antibodies in Critically Ill Patients With COVID-19.

TL;DR: Multiple medium or high levels aPLs may help identify patients at risk of developing cerebral infarction and may trigger the development of “COVID‐19‐induced‐APS‐like‐syndrome”, which is one of the characteristics of critically ill patients with Coronavirus Disease 2019.
Journal ArticleDOI

Profile of natural anticoagulant, coagulant factor and anti-phospholipid antibody in critically ill COVID-19 patients.

TL;DR: Sustained hypercoagulable status and thrombotic events were common in critically ill patients with COVID-19, and the low activities of natural anticoagulants, elevated factor VIII level and the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies, together, may contribute to the etiopathology of coagulopathy in CO VID-19 patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

Sepsis-related mortality in China: a descriptive analysis

TL;DR: The standardized sepsis-related mortality rate in China was high and varied according to socioeconomic indices, even though some uncertainty remained.
