Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of supported Zn(OAc)2 catalyst and its stability in N-phenyl carbamate synthesis
TL;DR: Zn(OAc) 2 /SiO 2 was found to give excellent catalytic performance for methyl N -phenyl carbamate (MPC) synthesis from aniline and dimethyl carbonate (DMC) as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of p-aminophenol from the hydrogenation of nitrobenzene over metal-solid acid bifunctional catalyst
TL;DR: In this paper, S2O82−/ZrO2 (PSZ) solid acid and Pt-S 2O82 −/ZRO2 bifunctional catalysts were prepared for the synthesis of p-aminophenol (PAP) in non-acid medium.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of hydrazine hydrate on the Ru–Zn/SiO2 catalysts performance for partial hydrogenation of benzene
TL;DR: In this article, Ru-Zn/SiO 2 catalysts were prepared in a water-in-oil microemulsion for partial hydrogenation of benzene, and hydrazine hydrate was added during the preparation to obtain Ru particles with controllable size.
Journal ArticleDOI
Esterification of cyclohexene with formic acid over a peanut shell-derived carbon solid acid catalyst
TL;DR: A carbon solid acid catalyst was prepared by the sulfonation of partially carbonized peanut shell with concentrated H 2 SO 4, which showed that it was an amorphous carbon material composed of aromatic carbon sheets in random orientations as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clean synthesis of methyl N‐phenyl carbamate over ZnO‐TiO2 catalyst
TL;DR: In this article, a new heterogeneous catalyst, ZnO-TiO2, was prepared for MPC synthesis, which exhibited good catalytic activity: aniline conversion was 96.9% and MPC yield 66.7%.
