Journal ArticleDOI

Antimicrobial Peptide Cec4 Eradicates the Bacteria of Clinical Carbapenem-Resistant Acinetobacter baumannii Biofilm.

TL;DR: Cec4 may represent a new choice for the prevention and treatment of clinical infections, and may also provide a theoretical basis for the development of antimicrobial peptide drugs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antibacterial mechanism of peptide Cec4 against Acinetobacter baumannii.

TL;DR: It is apparent that the antibacterial peptide Cec4 may achieve rapid sterilization by multi-target interaction and presents an attractive therapeutic option for the prevention and control of A. baumannii infections.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antimicrobial functional divergence of the cecropin antibacterial peptide gene family in Musca domestica.

TL;DR: Eleven cecropin family genes, namely Cec01, Cec02 and Cec1-9, show homology to the Cec form in a multigene family on the Scaffold18749 of M. domestica, the first experimental demonstration that most genes in the Cec family are functional.
Journal ArticleDOI

Editorial: Ciliates: Key Organisms in Aquatic Environments

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors presented a Front.Microbiol.b.2022 abstract for the article "Aquatic Microbiology: 2019-2022: Front. Microbiol., 29 March 2022
