MIRRORS: An integrated framework for capturing real world behaviour for models of ad hoc networks

TL;DR: This work uses mobility as a focal point to propose a new framework, MIRRORS, that captures real world behaviour and better represent real world topology properties and presents a wider spectrum of variation in the metrics examined.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Video-zilla: An Indexing Layer for Large-Scale Video Analytics

TL;DR: This paper proposes a video data unit abstraction, semantic video stream (SVS), based on a notion of distance between objects in the video, and builds a hierarchical index that exposes the semantic similarity both within and across camera feeds, such that Video-zilla can quickly cluster video feeds based on their content semantics without manual labeling.

Softly, Deftly, Scrolls Unfurl Their Splendor: Rolling Flexible Surfaces for Wideband Wireless

TL;DR: In this article , a frequency-tunable soft smart surface system, Scrolls, is proposed to enhance wideband, multi-network coverage by deploying a set of distributed, composable Scrolls prototypes and deploying them in an office.
