Journal ArticleDOI
Ligand‐Field Control and Hydrogen Bonding as Design Elements in the Assembly and Crystallization of Poly(azolyl)borate‐Metal Complexes: Chelate Complexes Versus Coordination Polymers and Symmetrical Versus Distorted Grid Sheets
Christoph Janiak,Tobias G. Scharmann,Wulf Günther,Frank Girgsdies,Holger Hemling,Winfried Hinrichs,Dieter Lentz +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the 1-and 2-D coordination polymers [Mn{HB(C2H2N3)3}2(H2O)2], [Ni{H2B(CHN4)2}2-(NH3)2] (13), respectively, and the chelate complex
Journal ArticleDOI
Insertion of water into rare earth oxocuprates (Ln)Ba2Cu3O7−δ
Wulf Günther,Robert Schöllhorn +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the insertion of water into these defect perovskites has been described as a topotactic acid/base process, which proceeds in a temperature window which depends upon the oxygen content of the starting phase and is correlated with a structural transition via intermediate states.
Journal ArticleDOI
Copper Coordination Polymers with Infinite Chloride Ion Channels and Different Directions of the Jahn‐Teller Distortion, Built from Tris(1,2,4‐triazolyl)borate as a Modified Tris(pyrazolyl)borate Ligand
TL;DR: In this article, the 2-D double-layer-type coordination polymer was crystallized in the orthorhombic space group P212121, where the two different Cu(II) centers in the lattice are distinguished only be the direction of the Jahn-Teller distortion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low temperature synthesis and properties of superconducting alkali substituted La2CuO4 phases
Wulf Günther,Robert Schöllhorn +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis of alkali substituted lanthanum copper oxide La2−xMxCuO4 (M = Na, K, Rb, Cs) by the low temperature hydroxide melt technique is described.
Journal ArticleDOI
Correlation between synthesis, stoichiometry, structure and superconductivity of La2−xKxCuO4−δ
TL;DR: In this paper, the low temperature synthesis of alkali substituted phases La 2− x K x CuO 4− δ with defined metal stoichiometry (0≤ x ≤ 0.25), copper oxidation state and superconducting properties from alkali hydroxide melts as well as thermal transformations with phase segregation are reported.
