Facile assembly of Cu-Cu2O/N-reduced graphene oxide nanocomposites for efficient synthesis of 2-methylfuran

TL;DR: In this article, a uniformly dispersed Cu-Cu2O/N-RGO nanocomposite was assembled via microwave assisted reduction and ammonia evaporation synthetic strategy, and the yield of 2-methylfuran reached 95.5%, and there was no catalyst deactivation was observed within 5 cycles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Continuous synthesis of ethyl levulinate over Cerium exchanged phosphotungstic acid anchored on commercially silica gel pellets catalyst

TL;DR: In this article, a fixed-bed reaction with 30% CeTPA/SGP showed high catalytic activity with about 98.5% levulinic acid conversion and 99.5 % selectivity for ethyl levulinate for 50h of Time on stream at the optimum conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Efficient biodiesel production from waste cooking oil using p-toluenesulfonic acid doped polyaniline as a catalyst

TL;DR: In this article, Toluenesulfonic acid doped polyaniline was developed as a catalyst for the production of biodiesel from waste cooking oil, and the physical and chemical properties of the obtained catalyst were characterized in detail.
Journal ArticleDOI

Continuous Hydrogenation of Ethyl Levulinate to γ-Valerolactone over Cu-Zn/ZrO2 Catalyst with Alumina Binder

TL;DR: In this paper, a Cu-Zn/ZrO2 catalyst with an alumina binder was built for catalytic hydrogenation of ethyl levulinate to γ-valerolactone.
Journal ArticleDOI

First principle calculations of electronic, band structural, and optical properties of BixSr1-xTiO3 perovskite

TL;DR: Based on the first-principles plane-wave ultrasoft pseudopotential method, Wang et al. as mentioned in this paper set up models of perovskite-type oxides BixSr1-xTiO3 (x = 0, 0.625, 1), and the geomertry optimization, the electronic and band structure were studied.
