Journal ArticleDOI

Hydrothermal Syntheses, Crystal Structures, and Characteristics of a Series of Cd-btx Coordination Polymers (btx = 1,4-Bis(triazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene)

TL;DR: Polymers 2-4 display strong fluorescent emissions in the solid state at room temperature and the effects of temperature on the hydrothermal reaction system of btx and CdSO(4) and found that different products can be obtained at different temperatures.
Journal ArticleDOI

Novel pb and zn coordination polymers: synthesis, molecular structures, and third-order nonlinear optical properties.

TL;DR: It is deduced that the valence shell structures of metal ions may have some influence on the strength of N LO properties, and the relationships between the crystal structures of coordination polymers and the observed NLO properties are discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Two-dimensional rhombohedral grid coordination polymers [M(bbbt)(2)(NCS)(2)](n)(M = Co, Mn, or Cd; bbbt = 1,1'-(1,4-butanediyl) bis-1H-benzotriazole): synthesis, crystal structures, and third-order nonlinear optical properties.

TL;DR: The results show that all three polymers show very large NLO absorption and strong NLO refraction properties, comparable to those of clusters and better than those of organometallic compounds, semiconductors, and fullerene.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, crystal structures, and third-order nonlinear optical properties of a series of ferrocenyl organometallics.

TL;DR: The third-order nonlinear optical (NLO) properties of 4-PFA, 4-BPFA, and complexes 1-3 were determined by Z-scan techniques and indicate that all the compounds exhibit strong self-focusing effect.
