Journal ArticleDOI

Effective adsorption and enhanced removal of organophosphorus pesticides from aqueous solution by Zr-based MOFs of UiO-67.

TL;DR: The excellent adsorption characteristics of the current adsorbents toward OPs were preserved in a wide pH window and high concentration of the background electrolytes, which prefigured the promising potentials of UiO-67 as novel adsorbent for the efficient removal of OPs from aqueous solution.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metal–organic frameworks with inherent recognition sites for selective phosphate sensing through their coordination-induced fluorescence enhancement effect

TL;DR: In this article, the intrinsic fluorescence of BDC-NH2 was tuned from high to weak emission by ligand-to-metal charge transfer (LMCT), and this weakened fluorescence could be proportionally recovered in correlation with the applied phosphate level through a newly developed competitive coordination effect.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inherent anchorages in UiO-66 nanoparticles for efficient capture of alendronate and its mediated release

TL;DR: Zr-based MOF nanoparticles were applied as efficient carriers for alendronate delivery, and an unprecedented drug loading capacity was achieved thanks to the inherent drug anchorages of Zr-O clusters therein.
Journal ArticleDOI

Defect creation in metal-organic frameworks for rapid and controllable decontamination of roxarsone from aqueous solution.

TL;DR: Zr-based metal-organic frameworks of UiO-66 have been successfully exploited for the efficient decontamination of a typical organic arsenic compound of roxarsone (ROX) from aqueous solution to prefigure the great potentials of these defect-tunable Uo-66 MOFs as adsorbents for theefficient removal of various OACs from the polluted water.
Journal ArticleDOI

Zr-based metal–organic frameworks for specific and size-selective enrichment of phosphopeptides with simultaneous exclusion of proteins

TL;DR: In this article, facilely synthesized Zr-based metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have been successfully exploited as novel affinity materials for the enrichment and analysis of phosphopeptides.
