Bright and tunable photoluminescence properties for cesium lead halide (CsPbX3) quantum dots (QDs) hinder its application due to their easy degradation in humid and high temperature conditions. Here, we present a simple approach to fabricate a novel CsPbI3 QDs in zinc borosilicate glass through a conventional melting–quenching technique. CsPbI3 QDs glass exhibits high luminescent intensity, tunable narrow-band emission, including the same bandgap energies and emission spectra as CsPbI3 QDs solution, but the quantum yield and decay time show a reduction for the structure defect and electron-hole consist in CsPbI3 QDs glass. Moreover, different heat-treated temperature effect the luminescence of CsPbI3 QDs glass. Absorption and photoluminescence spectra demonstrate that 540 °C is the ideal heat-treated temperature for CsPbI3 QDs glass. Consequently, this novel and stable CsPbI3 QDs glass reveals the promising candidate for all-inorganic perovskite in display and solid-state warm lighting source.

Thermal analysis of loop heat pipe used for high-power LED

The utility model relates to a loop heat pipe device used for a high-power LED (light emitting diode, LED) to radiate, which comprises the high-power LED, an evaporator, a circulating tube, a condenser and a liquid storage device, wherein, the evaporator forms a flat plate shape; the wall surface of the evaporator is directly welded with the high-power LED; the evaporator absorbing heat of a high power LED light is connected to the condenser which can release the heat through the circulating tube; and the circulating tube passes through the liquid storage device to be extended into the inner part of the evaporator. The loop heat pipe device has the characteristics of high radiating efficiency, good temperature evening performance, compact structure, convenient processing, small heat dam, light weight, low cost, obvious energy-saving effect, and the like, the radiating design can satisfy molding demand, and the loop heat pipe device can effectively solve the radiating problem of the high-power LED.

Loop hot pipe apparatus for high power LED heat radiation

A novel loop heat pipe (LHP) cooling device for high power LED is developed. The thermal capabilities, including startup performance, temperature uniformity and thermal resistance of the loop heat pipe under different heat loads and incline angles have been investigated experimentally. The obtained results indicate that the thermal resistance of the heat pipe heat sink is in the range of 0.19–3.1 K/W, the temperature uniformity in the evaporator is controlled within 1.5°C, and the junction temperature of high power LED can be controlled steadily under 100°C for a heat load of 100 W.

Analysis of heat transfer of loop heat pipe used to cool high power LED

The invention relates to a high power LED heat sink, characterized by including a high power LED, an evaporator, a circulator, a condensator, a condensator, a reservoir, the evaporator is in plat shape, the wall of which is directly welded with the high power LED, and the evaporator, the condensator and the reservoir are connected in turn through the circulator. The circulator part passing through the reservoir and extending into the inside of the plat type evaporator is provided with small holes at the pipe wall convenient for the working substance fluid reflowing to the capillary structure silk net in the evaporator as soon as possible; the inside of the plat type evaporator and the reservoir is tiled with the silk net with capillary structure. The gap between the plat type evaporator and the reservoir is blocked by the vapor baffle which can effectively prevent the vapor in the evaporator entering the reservoir. The invention has the characteristic of high heat emission effect, good temperature equalization performance, compact conformation, convenient process, small thermal resistance, light weight, low cost etc, which can effectively solve the heat emission problems of the high power LED.
