Diagnostic Lamb waves in an integrated piezoelectric sensor/actuator plate: analytical and experimental studies

TL;DR: In this article, an integrated piezoelectric sensor/actuator plate with a view to using it as a first step towards establishing an entire structural health monitoring system and to provide experimental verification of the proposed models.
Journal ArticleDOI

Detection of Multiple Damages by Prestack Reverse-Time Migration

TL;DR: In this paper, a structural health monitoring system (SHMS) with a linear array of actuators/sensors is proposed to detect and image multiple damages in a plate-like structure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Damage Detection of a Plate Using Migration Technique

TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate a feasibility study of applying migration, which is widely used as an advanced data processing technique in geophysical exploration, to detect damage in a plate, and suggest a scheme that may build a real-time, in situ, and quantitative health monitoring system.

Experimental Study Applying a Migration Technique in Structural Health Monitoring

TL;DR: In this paper, a homogeneous isotropic plate is examined with a surfacemounted linear array of piezoelectric ceramic (PZT) disks, which function as actuators to excite flexural waves and also as sensors to receive the waves scattered from structural damage in the plate.
