Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetic and self-healing chitosan-alginate hydrogel encapsulated gelatin microspheres via covalent cross-linking for drug delivery
Xueyun Chen,Ming Fan,Huaping Tan,Bowen Ren,Guoliang Yuan,Yang Jia,Jianliang Li,Dangsheng Xiong,Xiaodong Xing,Xiaohong Niu,Xiaohong Hu +10 more
TL;DR: The results demonstrated that this magnetic and self-healing CEC-OAlg hydrogel scaffold encapsulated MGMs containing 5-Fu was expected to be a platform for drug delivery and soft tissue engineering.
Journal ArticleDOI
Injectable polysaccharide hydrogel embedded with hydroxyapatite and calcium carbonate for drug delivery and bone tissue engineering.
Bowen Ren,Xueyun Chen,Shoukang Du,Ye Ma,Huinan Chen,Guoliang Yuan,Jianliang Li,Dangsheng Xiong,Huaping Tan,Zhonghua Ling,Yong Chen,Xiaohong Hu,Xiaohong Niu +12 more
TL;DR: A facile method to prepare injectable and degradable polysaccharide-based hydrogels doubly integrated with hydroxyapatite nanoparticles and calcium carbonate microspheres under physiological condition suggested that the prepared composite gel scaffolds hold great potential for drug delivery and regeneration of irregular bone defects.
Journal ArticleDOI
Covalently polysaccharide-based alginate/chitosan hydrogel embedded alginate microspheres for BSA encapsulation and soft tissue engineering.
Lian Xing,Jinchen Sun,Huaping Tan,Guoliang Yuan,Jianliang Li,Yang Jia,Dangsheng Xiong,Guang Chen,Jianzhong Lai,Zhonghua Ling,Yong Chen,Xiaohong Niu +11 more
TL;DR: The results show that mechanical and stable properties of gel scaffolds can be significantly improved by embedding alginate microspheres, which can serve as a filler to toughen the soft OAlg/N-Chi hydrogels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Doubly crosslinked biodegradable hydrogels based on gellan gum and chitosan for drug delivery and wound dressing.
Xiaomin Zhang,Yajin Pan,Shengke Li,Lian Xing,Shoukang Du,Guoliang Yuan,Jianliang Li,Tianle Zhou,Dangsheng Xiong,Huaping Tan,Zhonghua Ling,Yong Chen,Xiaohong Hu,Xiaohong Niu +13 more
TL;DR: The results support the bioactive composite hydrogel can be employed as a promising injectable scaffold for promoting wound regeneration and drug delivery.
Journal ArticleDOI
Alginate membrane dressing toughened by chitosan floccule to load antibacterial drugs for wound healing
Lian Xing,Ye Ma,Huaping Tan,Guoliang Yuan,Shengke Li,Jianliang Li,Yang Jia,Tianle Zhou,Xiaohong Niu,Xiaohong Hu +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a transparent and flexible alginate-based membranes containing antibacterial drugs were prepared by a casting/solvent evaporation method from alginates solution mixed with chitosan floccule (CSF) and oxidized sodium alginately (OAlg).
