Quick pressure-relief gas discharge method for exposing super-thick and soft outburst coal seam in vertical wellbore

TL;DR: In this paper, a quick pressure-relief gas discharge method for exposing a super-thick and soft outburst coal seam in a vertical wellbore is proposed. But the method is not suitable for coal seams with large diameter.

Method for measuring range of influence of crushed zones of coal bed roadway and device thereof

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for measuring the range of influence of crushed zones of a coal bed roadway and a device thereof was proposed, where a front rubber bag and a rear rubber bag connected through a fixing and connecting pipe are sequentially sent into a drill hole through the connecting pipe; a water injection pipe is used for injecting water into the front and rear rubber bags, so that the front rubber bags and the rear rubberbag swell, and a closed space is formed between the two rubber bags to serve as a gas injection section; then an adjusting pressure reducing and stabilizing valve

Study on the Interaction between Low-Viscosity High-Permeability Pregrouting Sealing Material and Coal and Its Application

TL;DR: In this paper, a pregrouting treatment with polylactide polyol/polyether polyol 4110/isocyanate was applied to coal mines to ensure the intactness of pressure-measuring boreholes and the accuracy of gas pressure determination.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study on the Failure Characteristics of Concrete Specimen Under Confining Pressure

TL;DR: In this article, both uniaxial compression tests and loading confining pressure tests were conducted on three concrete samples of different strengths, respectively, and the failure process of the samples during the loading of confined pressure was monitored using an acoustic wave tester; finally, the failure characteristics of the concrete samples were further investigated on a mesoscopic level by carrying out numerical simulations.
Journal ArticleDOI

A rapid prediction technology for the outburst risk of coal uncovered in crosscuts and shafts and its application in the Panyi Coal Mine in Huainan, China

TL;DR: In this article, a set of rapid prediction technologies for the outburst risk of coal uncovering in crosscuts and shafts (CUCS) are proposed, including coal seam gas pressure determination under complex geological conditions, complete coal-core coring and the IEERG measurement.
