Journal ArticleDOI

A Similarity-Based Ranking Method for Hyperspectral Band Selection

TL;DR: This article proposes a similarity-based ranking (SR) strategy inspired by a density-based clustering algorithm and introduces structural similarity (SSIM) to measure the relationships between the bands and demonstrated that SR-SSIM outperformed the other methods.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of temporal–longitudinal–latitudinal characteristics in the global ionosphere based on tensor rank-1 decomposition

TL;DR: In this article, rank-1 decomposition is used to obtain the time, longitude, and latitude vectors for the ionosphere. But the results indicate that the geomagnetic disturbances have little effect on large-scale ionospheric characteristics.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modeling the global ionospheric variations based on complex network

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors employed the probabilistic graphical model to build complex networks to model the global ionospheric variations and found that the information flow in the ionosphere is mainly transmitted locally, almost obeying the geospatial proximity principle.
Journal ArticleDOI

Complex network description of the ionosphere

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors constructed a directed complex network of the ionosphere based on a probabilistic graph of the vertical total electron content (VTEC) from 2012, and the results of the power-law hypothesis test show that both the out-degree and in-degree distribution of ionospheric networks are not scale-free.
