Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization, antioxidation, anti-inflammation and renoprotection effects of selenized mycelia polysaccharides from Oudemansiella radicata.
Zheng Gao,Chen Zhang,Chengye Tian,Zhenzhen Ren,Xinling Song,Xiuxiu Wang,Nuo Xu,Huijuan Jing,Shangshang Li,Weiru Liu,Jianjun Zhang,Le Jia +11 more
TL;DR: The results demonstrated that both MSPS and mycelia polysaccharides showed potential renoprotective effects reflecting by decreasing the serum levels of CRE, BUN and UA, increasing the nephritic enzyme activities of SOD, GSH-Px, CAT and T-AOC, reducing the activities of MPO, as well as down-regulating the contents of MDA and LPO, respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antioxidant and hepatoprotective effects of intracellular mycelium polysaccharides from Pleurotus geesteranus against alcoholic liver diseases.
Xinling Song,Qiang Shen,Min Liu,Chen Zhang,Lan Zhang,Zhenzhen Ren,Wenshuai Wang,Yuhan Dong,Xiuxiu Wang,Jianjun Zhang,Le Jia +10 more
TL;DR: Besides the properties of typical pyran-type polysaccharides obtained by β-glycosidic bonding rich in fucose, the results demonstrated that IMPP might be used as a functional food and natural medicine for preventing ALD and its complications.
Journal ArticleDOI
Purification, in vitro antioxidant and in vivo anti-aging activities of soluble polysaccharides by enzyme-assisted extraction from Agaricus bisporus.
Shangshang Li,Min Liu,Chen Zhang,Chengye Tian,Xiuxiu Wang,Xinling Song,Huijuan Jing,Zheng Gao,Zhenzhen Ren,Weiru Liu,Jianjun Zhang,Le Jia +11 more
TL;DR: In vivo animal experiments showed that both EnAPS and its purifies fractions had potential anti-aging effects against the d-galctose-induced aging diseases on liver, kidney, brain and skin, possibly by increasing the antioxidant enzymes, reducing the lipid peroxidation, improving the organ functions and remitting the lipid metabolism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Anti-hyperlipidemic and antioxidant effects of alkali-extractable mycelia polysaccharides by Pleurotus eryngii var. tuolensis
Zhenzhen Ren,Juan Li,Nuo Xu,Jianjun Zhang,Xinling Song,Xiuxiu Wang,Zheng Gao,Huijuan Jing,Shangshang Li,Chen Zhang,Min Liu,Huajie Zhao,Le Jia +12 more
TL;DR: The results clearly indicated that the Al-MPS could be used as a beneficial health food and potentially natural candidate medicine in preventing the high-fat emulsion-induced hyperlipidemia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization, anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation of polysaccharides by Hypsizygus marmoreus against LPS-induced toxicity on lung
TL;DR: Pretreatment with MPS markedly ameliorated the lung wet-to-dry weight (W/D) ratio and pulmonary histopathological conditions, and reduced the tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-6, and IL-1β levels in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF), myeloperoxidase (MPO) activities.
