Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and optical properties of ZnS:Cu(II) nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, a green emission band located at 490-510 nm was observed by UV excitation of the ZnS host, which indicated that Cu 2+ ions substitute Zn 2+ ion in the lattice and act as luminescent centers.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metal-free aerobic oxidative coupling of amines to imines

TL;DR: Oxidative coupling of primary amines to imines is achieved with high to moderate yields by refluxing suspensions of amines and water under one atmosphere dioxygen without any additives.
Journal ArticleDOI

Azobisisobutyronitrile initiated aerobic oxidative transformation of amines: coupling of primary amines and cyanation of tertiary amines.

TL;DR: In the presence of a catalytic amount of radical initiator AIBN, primary amines are oxidatively coupled to imines and tertiary amine are cyanated to α-aminonitriles in "metal-free" aerobic oxidative coupling reactions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Visible Light Induced Living/Controlled Radical Polymerization of Acrylates Catalyzed by Cobalt Porphyrins

TL;DR: In this paper, a visible light-induced living radical polymerization of a wide scope of acrylates mediated by organocobalt porphyrins was developed, where photostimulus was used to control the initiation steps and regulate chain growth by reversibly activating the Co-C bond.
