Journal ArticleDOI
Vascular endothelial growth factor-C protects heart from ischemia/reperfusion injury by inhibiting cardiomyocyte apoptosis.
Xu-guang Chen,Yan-xia Lv,Dan Zhao,Lei Zhang,Fei Zheng,Jian-Ye Yang,Xiao-lin Li,Lu Wang,Linyun Guo,Ya-mu Pan,Yu-wen Yan,Shi-You Chen,Jia-Ning Wang,Jun-Ming Tang,Yu Wan +14 more
TL;DR: VEGF-C exerts its cardiac protection following myocardial ischemia–reperfusion injury via its anti-apoptotic effect and also improved the function of I/R-injured hearts.
Journal ArticleDOI
VEGF-A and VEGF-B Coordinate the Arteriogenesis to Repair the Infarcted Heart with Vagus Nerve Stimulation.
Yan-xia Lv,Sen Zhong,Hexin Tang,Bin Luo,Shao-juan Chen,Long Chen,Fei Zheng,Lei Zhang,Lu Wang,Xing-Yuan Li,Yu-wen Yan,Ya-mu Pan,Miao Jiang,You-en Zhang,Lei Wang,Jian-Ye Yang,Ling-Yun Guo,Shi-You Chen,Jia-Ning Wang,Jun-Ming Tang +19 more
TL;DR: VNS promoted angiogenesis/arteriogenesis to repair the infracted heart through the synergistic effects of V EGF-A and VEGF-B and effectively improved the coronary function and left ventricular performance.
Journal ArticleDOI
Continuous exposure of isoprenaline inhibits myoblast differentiation and fusion through PKA/ERK1/2-FOXO1 signaling pathway
Shao-juan Chen,Jing Yue,Jing-Xuan Zhang,Miao Jiang,Tu-qiang Hu,Wei-dong Leng,Li Xiang,Xin-yuan Li,Lei Zhang,Fei Zheng,Ye Yuan,Linyun Guo,Ya-mu Pan,Yu-wen Yan,Jia-Ning Wang,Shi-You Chen,Jun-Ming Tang +16 more
TL;DR: Continuous exposure of ISO impedes satellite cell differentiation and myoblast fusion, at least in part, through PKA-ERK1/2-FOXO1 signaling pathways, which were associated with the reduced β2-AdR and increased β1- adrenergic receptors levels.
Journal ArticleDOI
S100B promotes injury-induced vascular remodeling through modulating smooth muscle phenotype.
Teng Cao,Lei Zhang,Ling-ling Yao,Fei Zheng,Lu Wang,Jian-Ye Yang,Ling-Yun Guo,Xing-Yuan Li,Yu-wen Yan,Ya-mu Pan,Miao Jiang,Long Chen,Jun-Ming Tang,Shi-You Chen,Jia-Ning Wang +14 more
TL;DR: Data indicated that S100B is a novel regulator for vascular remodeling following injury and may serve as a potential biomarker for vascular damage or drug target for treating proliferative vascular diseases.
Journal ArticleDOI
KPC1 alleviates hypoxia/reoxygenation-induced apoptosis in rat cardiomyocyte cells though BAX degradation.
Ye Yuan,Yong‐yi Wang,Xin Liu,Bin Luo,Lei Zhang,Fei Zheng,Xing-Yuan Li,Ling-Yun Guo,Lu Wang,Miao Jiang,Ya-mu Pan,Yu-wen Yan,Jian-Ye Yang,Shi-You Chen,Jia-Ning Wang,Jun-Ming Tang +15 more
TL;DR: KPC1 prevented basal and apoptotic stress‐induced Bax translocation to mitochondria, suggesting that Bax can be a novel target for the antiapoptotic effects of KPC1 on I/R‐induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis and render mechanistic penetration into at least a subset of the mitochondrial effects of kPC1.
