Sanguinarine inhibits the proliferation of BGC-823 gastric cancer cells via regulating miR-96-5p/miR-29c-3p and the MAPK/JNK signaling pathway

TL;DR: The in vitro proliferation inhibition effect of SAN was determined using CCK-8 assay, and the in vivo antitumor effect of San was evaluated in mice with xenotransplanted tumor, indicating that SAN may inhibit the proliferation of BGC-823 cells through the inhibition ofmiR-96-5p and miR-29c-3p expression, and subsequent activation of the MAPK/JNK signaling pathway.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synergistic Effects of Earthworms and Plants on Chromium Removal from Acidic and Alkaline Soils: Biological Responses and Implications

TL;DR: In this article , the role of synergistic removal effects of earthworms and plants on two types of chromium-contaminated soils and their biological responses was examined, and it was shown that the combined use of Eisenia fetida and ryegrass had the best effect on removing chromium pollution from soil, and acidic soil exerted stronger pressure on earthworms which finally unbalanced the intestinal bacterial phyla.
Journal ArticleDOI

Carbon sealing materials with low-density and high-strength fabricated by a new process

TL;DR: In this article , a new process of removing useless volatile matter from green petroleum coke (GPC) using recoverable dichloromethane (CH2Cl2) was developed to prepare self-sintering calcinated block (SCBD), which had potential application as carbon sealing materials (CSMs).
