Evaluation of three different lamp emission models using novel application of potassium ferrioxalate actinometry

TL;DR: The application of advanced oxidation processes using hydroxyl radicals in the degradation of organic contaminants from various waste streams has become increasingly popular over the last 2 decades as mentioned in this paper, and it has been shown that advanced oxidation process can be applied to a wide range of applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photoinduced Dehydrogenative Borylation via Dihydrogen Bond Bridged Electron Donor and Acceptor Complexes.

TL;DR: In this paper , air-stable amine-and phosphine-boranes are discovered as donors to integrate with pyridinium acceptor for generating photoactive electron-donor-acceptor (EDA) complexes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Charge Separation in Metal-Organic Framework Enables Heterogeneous Thiol Catalysis.

TL;DR: In this article , photo-induced metal-organic framework (MOF) enabled heterogeneous thiol catalysis has been achieved for the first time, where the fast electron transfer from TPDCS to Zr6-cluster is believed to facilitate the formation of the thiyl radical, a hydrogen atom transfer catalyst, which competently abstracts the hydrogen from borane, silane, phosphine, or thiol for generating the corresponding element radical to engender the chemical transformations.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metal‐Organic Frameworks with Organic Photosensitizers in Organic Synthesis

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors summarize recent advances in constructing metal-organic frameworks with organic photosensitizers and their applications in organic transformations and organize the content based on the types of photosensizers.
