Journal ArticleDOI

A Modified DC Power Electronic Transformer Based on Series Connection of Full-Bridge Converters

TL;DR: The proposed DCPET has fewer power semiconductor devices and high-frequency isolation transformers, which can improve the power density and reliability, and soft switching is guaranteed for all the switches, which is beneficial to increase switching frequency and improve power density.
Journal ArticleDOI

An LLC-LC Type Bidirectional Control Strategy for an LLC Resonant Converter in Power Electronic Traction Transformer

TL;DR: A no-load-point-based design method is put forward in this paper, which can rapidly obtain optimal parameters of an LLC resonant converter using the proposed LLC-LC type bidirectional control strategy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multirate Digital Signal Processing and Noise Suppression for Dual Active Bridge DC–DC Converters in a Power Electronic Traction Transformer

TL;DR: The mathematical models toward the sampling and the phase-shift modulation under multirates circumstance are derived, and the multirate digital control strategy of the PETT is proposed, based on a five-cell PETT laboratory prototype.

Energy bidirectional control strategy applicable to LLC resonant converter

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed an energy bidirectional control strategy applicable to an LLC resonant converter, which consists of the steps of 1, setting driving pulses of switch tubes S1 and S4 in a primary full-bridge circuit of the LLC Resonant Converter to be square waves with duty ratio being 50%, wherein the driving pulses S2 and S3 are complementary to the driving pulse of the switch tubes of S 1 and S 4, and dead time shall be reserved between the driving and non-driving pulses of S 2 and S 3, respectively.

Novel AC power electronic transformer topological structure

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a novel AC power electronic transformer topological structure, which can be divided into two types and comprises a power electronic traction transformer topology structure applied to a high-speed train traction transmission system and a three-phase AC-power electronic transform topology applied to an interconnection threephase middle/highvoltage AC power grid and a low-voltage DC power grid.
