Journal ArticleDOI

Raman spectroscopy study of ZnO-based ceramic films fabricated by novel sol-gel process

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of the dopants on the residual stress, carrier concentration and the secondary phases was studied by means of Raman spectroscopy, showing that both the tensile residual stress and the free carrier concentration were increased with doping.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dielectric and ferroelectric properties of (1 − x)BaTiO3–xBi0.5Na0.5TiO3 ceramics

TL;DR: In this article, a sample with 0.3 µm BNT content was found to have relaxor behaviour, and the T c shifted slightly only for BNT addition lower than 0.1 µm.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hierarchically porous CuO nano-labyrinths as binder-free anodes for long-life and high-rate lithium ion batteries

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors report an ultralong cycling stability and rate performance of a CuO nano-labyrinths (NLs) composed of densely interlaced nanowalls on Cu foil.
Journal ArticleDOI

Colossal permittivity in percolative ceramic/metal dielectric composites

TL;DR: In this paper, a review of the recent advance in ceramic/metal composites with various metal fillers is reviewed from the viewpoint of dielectric ceramic materials, and the remaining challenges, diverse applications and future prospect are also presented.
Journal ArticleDOI

Preparation and properties of ZnO-based ceramic films for low-voltage varistors by novel sol-gel process

TL;DR: In this paper, ZnO-based ceramic nano-powders with thickness close to 2-4 µm were fabricated by dispersing doped-ZnO porco-pwders into the sols, which were prepared by dissolving zinc acetate dihydrate into 2-methoxyethanol and stabilized by diethanolamine and glacial acetic acid and doped with a concentrated solution of bismuth nitrate, phenylstibonic acid, cobalt nitrate and chromium nitrate.
