Limonoids from the Fruits of Aphanamixis polystachya (Meliaceae) and Their Biological Activities

TL;DR: Seven new prieurianin- type limonoids, aphapolynins C-I (1-7), and a new aphanamolide-type limonoid, aphan amolide B (8), along with seventeen known compounds, were isolated from the fruits of Aphanamixis polystachya, establishing the structures of these compounds on the basis of spectroscopic studies.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bioactive terpenoids from the fruits of Aphanamixis grandifolia.

TL;DR: From the fruits of the tropical tree Aphanamixis grandifolia, five new evodulone-type limonoids, aphanalides I-M, one new apo-tirucallane-type triterpenoid, polystanin E, and three new chain-like diterpenoids, nemoralisins A-C, along with 12 known compounds were identified.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cytotoxic tirucallane C26 triterpenoids from the stem barks of Aphanamixis grandifolia

TL;DR: Five tirucallane type C(26) triterpenoids, accompanied by two known compounds, were isolated from the stem barks of Aphanamixis grandifolia and in vitro evaluated for their cytotoxic activities against five tumor cell lines.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aphapolynins A and B, two new limonoids from the fruits of Aphanamixis polystachya

TL;DR: Two new highly oxidized A,B-seco limonoids, aphapolynin A (1) and B (2), were isolated from the fruits of Aphanamixis polystachya and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Aphanalides A–H, ring A- seco limonoids from the fruits of Aphanamixis polystachya

TL;DR: Aphanalides A (1) and A (2) are the first ring A-seco limonoids with an unusual oxetane ring between C-7 and C-14 as discussed by the authors.
