A Novel Molecule “Shati” Is Involved in Methamphetamine-Induced Hyperlocomotion, Sensitization, and Conditioned Place Preference
Minae Niwa,Atsumi Nitta,Hiroyuki Mizoguchi,Yasutomo Ito,Yukihiro Noda,Taku Nagai,Toshitaka Nabeshima,Toshitaka Nabeshima +7 more
TL;DR: A novel molecule “shati” is identified from the nucleus accumbens of mice treated with methamphetamine (METH) using the PCR-select complementary DNA subtraction method and it is suggested that a novel molecule shati is involved in the development of METH-induced hyperlocomotion, sensitization, and CPP.

An Analog of a Dipeptide-Like Structure of FK506 Increases Glial Cell Line-Derived Neurotrophic Factor Expression through cAMP Response Element-Binding Protein Activated by Heat Shock Protein 90/Akt Signaling Pathway
Xiaobo Cen,Atsumi Nitta,Shin Ohya,Yinglan Zhao,Naoya Ozawa,Akihiro Mouri,Daisuke Ibi,Daisuke Ibi,Li Wang,Makiko Suzuki,Kuniaki Saito,Yasutomo Ito,Tetsuya Kawagoe,Yukihiro Noda,Yukihiro Noda,Yoshihisa Ito,Yoshihisa Ito,Shoei Furukawa,Toshitaka Nabeshima +18 more
TL;DR: Findings show that CREB plays a key role in transcriptional regulation of GDNF expression induced by Leu-Ile, which activates Hsp90/Akt/CREB signaling, which contributes to the upregulation ofGDNF expression.
