Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of pore structure on thermal conductivity and strength of alumina porous ceramics using carbon black as pore-forming agent
TL;DR: In this article, the pore structures (i.e. mean pore size, pore distribution and various pores size proportions) were characterized by means of Micro-image Analysis and Process System (MIAPS) software and mercury intrusion porosimetry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Facile synthesis of boron and nitrogen-doped graphene as efficient electrocatalyst for the oxygen reduction reaction in alkaline media
TL;DR: In this paper, boron-doped graphene and nitrogen doped graphene have been respectively synthesized by a facile thermal solid-state reaction of graphene oxide with boric acid and urea.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microstructure and mechanical properties of MgOC refractories containing graphite oxide nanosheets (GONs)
TL;DR: In this paper, the phase composition, microstructure, mechanical and thermo-mechanical properties of MgO-C refractories treated at different temperatures were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) coupled with energy dispersive Xray spectroscopy (EDS), three-point bending method and thermal shock test.
Journal ArticleDOI
Numerical investigations on thermal performance enhancement of hydrogen-fueled micro planar combustors with injectors for micro-thermophotovoltaic applications
TL;DR: In this article, the inlets of the traditional micro planar combustor are modified into injectors for better thermal performance and higher output power of the micro-thermophotovoltaic system.
Journal ArticleDOI
Methanol electrocatalytic oxidation on Pt nanoparticles on nitrogen doped graphene prepared by the hydrothermal reaction of graphene oxide with urea
TL;DR: In this article, a facile hydrothermal reaction of graphene oxide with urea was used to produce nitrogen doped graphene, and Pt nanoparticles were deposited on the obtained nitrogen-doped graphene by the NaBH4 reduction route.
