Journal ArticleDOI
Behavior of plasma sprayed Cr coatings and FeCrAl coatings on Zr fuel cladding under loss-of-coolant accident conditions
Yiding Wang,Wancheng Zhou,Qinlong Wen,Xingcui Ruan,Fa Luo,Guanghai Bai,Yuchang Qing,Dongmei Zhu,Zhibin Huang,Yanwei Zhang,Tong Liu,Rui Li +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, a mixture of Cr2O3 scale forming on Cr coating acted as an oxygen diffusion barrier, whereas FeCrAl coating degraded due to inter-diffusion, leading to poor protection for the cladding.
Journal ArticleDOI
Enhanced microwave absorption of plasma-sprayed Ti3SiC2/glass composite coatings
TL;DR: In this article, the XRD patterns of the as-sprayed Ti3SiC2/glass composite coatings are composed of glass matrix, Ti3C2, TiC, and a small amount of Ti5Si3.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of calcium doping on yttrium titanate for microwave absorbing applications
TL;DR: In this paper, the dielectric and microwave absorbing properties of Ca-doped Y2Ti2O7 prepared by hot-pressing sintering were investigated and the results indicated that the main charge compensation mechanism was oxygen vacancies at low Ca2+ doping concentration, while at high Ca 2+ doping levels, oxygen vacancies and Ca interstitials coexisted.
Journal ArticleDOI
The influence of boron nitride shape and size on thermal conductivity, rheological and passive cooling properties of polyethylene composites
Yiding Wang,Wenrui Zhang,Mingjie Feng,Muchao Qu,Zhenghao Cai,Guanda Yang,Yamin Pan,Chuntai Liu,Changyu Shen,Xianhu Liu +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the role of shape and particle size of the filler is investigated for polyethylene composites and the performance of BN fillers is evaluated for thermal management and passive cooling.
