TL;DR: The present meta-analysis showed that the increases in MTPS and LTPS were overall risk factors of ACL injury, however, these slopes would only be considered as "at risk" for males, but not for females.

TL;DR: Although successful physical distancing, measured by the rapid downward trend in daily step counts of residents, played a critical role in the containment of the COVID-19 epidemic, the findings of an increase in the prevalence of frequent low daily steps raise concerns about unintended effects on physical activity.

Association between metabolic syndrome and knee osteoarthritis: a cross-sectional study

TL;DR: The findings of the present study indicated that there was a positive association between the prevalence of MetS and knee OA, however, MetS as a whole was associated with the higher prevalence of knee OSP, but not JSN, which should shed light on the understanding of the association between MetS.
