Counteranion-driven self-assembly of di- and tetra-nuclear Zn(II) single‐armed salamo‐type complexes

TL;DR: In this article , a single-armed salamo-type ligand (H3L), tetradentate N2O2 donor part of pocket I and NO2 donor portion of pocket II were designed to bond Zn(II) atoms, then unusually structural complexes were obtained by counteranion-driven self-assembled.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental and theoretical investigation of a new non-symmetric salamo-like ligand and its tri-nuclear Zn(II) and Ni(II) complexes

TL;DR: In this paper , neutral homotrinuclear complexes were obtained in the reactions of a new non-symmetric salamo-like ligand H2L (5-(N,N′-diethylamino)-2,2′-[ethylenedioxybis(nitrilomethylidyne)]phenolnaphthol) with the respective salts of M(OAc)2·2H2O (M = Zn(II) and Ni(II)), respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural, theoretical and optical investigations of two lateral twisting trinuclear Co(II) and Ni(II) salamo type complexes

TL;DR: In this article , two trinuclear Co(II and Ni(II) complexes with a unsymmetrically salamo type ligand were synthesized and characterized structurally.
Journal ArticleDOI

A novel double-armed salamo-based probe for highly selective fluorescence detection of tryptophan and Al3+

TL;DR: In this article , a double-armed salamo-based probe DAS for detecting tryptophan and Al3+ was successfully designed and synthesized, and the probe showed good selectivity to tryphan and al3+ in the mixed solvent DMF: H2O (9: 1, V / V, pH = 7.2).
