Journal ArticleDOI
Integrative analysis of the metabolome and transcriptome reveals seed germination mechanism in Punica granatum L.
TL;DR: It is found flavonoid 4-reductase genes of anthocyanin biosynthesis pathway are most significantly affected during pomegranate seed germination, while the flavonol synthase gene was mainly involved in the regulation of isoflavonoid biosynthesis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Collection and evaluation of thirty‑seven pomegranate germplasm resources
TL;DR: In this article, the pomegranate varieties from seven provinces in China were collected and analyzed for twelve phenotypic traits and twelve biochemical indicators (seeds and juices) and the coefficients of variation of the studied traits ranged from 5.62 to 54.02%.
