Nowadays, with the advantages of nanotechnology and solar radiation, the research of Solar Water Pump (SWP) production has become a trend. In this article, Prandtl-Eyring hybrid nanofluid (P-EHNF) is chosen as a working fluid in the SWP model for the production of SWP in a parabolic trough surface collector (PTSC) is investigated for the case of numerous viscous dissipation, heat radiations, heat source, and the entropy generation analysis. By using a well-established numerical scheme the group of equations in terms of energy and momentum have been handled that is called the Keller-box method. The velocity, temperature, and shear stress are briefly explained and displayed in tables and figures. Nusselt number and surface drag coefficient are also being taken into reflection for illustrating the numerical results. The first finding is the improvement in SWP production is generated by amplification in thermal radiation and thermal conductivity variables. A single nanofluid and hybrid nanofluid is very crucial to provide us the efficient heat energy sources. Further, the thermal efficiency of MoS2-Cu/EO than Cu-EO is between 3.3 and 4.4% The second finding is the addition of entropy is due to the increasing level of radiative flow, nanoparticles size, and Prandtl-Eyring variable.

The main objective of this investigation to examine the momentum and thermal transportation of rotating dusty micropolar fluid flux with suspension of conducting dust particles across the stretched sheet. The novelty of the flow model is the exploration of the significance of boosting the volume concentration of dust particles in fluid dynamics. The governing PDEs of the problem for both phase models are transmuted into nonlinear coupled non-dimensional ODEs by utilizing suitable similarity modifications. The bvp4c technique was utilized in MATLAB script to acquire a graphical representation of the experimental results. This study illustrates the analysis of repercussions of pertinent parameters on non-Newtonian fluid and the dusty phase of fluid. By improving the volume concentration of dust particles and rotating parameters, the axial velocity for both phases depreciates, whereas temperature and transverse velocity for both phases have the opposite behavior. The micro-rotation distribution rises with higher contributions of rotating and material parameters, whereas it decreases against larger inputs of volume concentration of dust particles. The growing strength of the dust volume fraction (ϕd) caused the coefficient of skin friction to decrease along the x direction, and the skin friction coefficient is raised along the y direction.

The thermophysical properties of the nanofluids override the physical properties of conventional fluids due to the high thermal conductivity of the nanoparticles. The applications of nanofluids have varied use in the era of bio-engineering and thermal sciences. Moreover, the nanoparticles attributed the significances in human blood arteries. Therefore, the present analysis manifests with the free convection of electrically conducting nanofluid embedding with resistive forces such that the magnetic field and permeability of the medium. The augmentation in the heat transfer properties is obtained because of the inclusion of radiative heat energy and absorption diffusion. Moreover, the nanoparticles volume fraction is focused with implementation of chemical reaction. Numerical treatment using the code in-build MATLAB code pdepeis employed for the transformed unsteady flow problem. The graphical computations against flow parameters are worked with justified physical importance. A declining change in nanoparticles is examined due to Prandtl number which is more progressive for steady case. The decreasing change in velocity is more dominant for nanoparticles as compared to pure fluid. The nanoparticles concentration reduces for effective variation of chemical reaction constant and Lewis number.

Entropy optimized flow of Darcy-Forchheimer viscous fluid with cubic autocatalysis chemical reactions

Entropy optimization in convective viscous fluids flow due to a rotating cone is explored. Heat expression with heat source/sink and dissipation is considered. Irreversibility with binary chemical reaction is also deliberated. Nonlinear system is reduced to ODEs by suitable variables. Newton built in shooting procedure is adopted for numerical solution. Salient features velocity filed, Bejan number, entropy rate, concentration and temperature are deliberated. Numerical outcomes for velocity gradient and mass and heat transfer rates are displayed through tables. Assessments between the current and previous published outcomes are in an excellent agreement. It is noted that velocity and temperature show contrasting behavior for larger variable viscosity parameter. Entropy rate and Bejan number have reverse effect against viscosity variable. For rising values of thermal conductivity variable both Bejan number and entropy optimization have similar effect.

Nanofluids have several industrial and technological applications such as space technology, cooling systems, chemical production, information technology, nuclear reactors, food safety, transportation, and medical applications like chemotherapy, destroying of injured tissues, pharmacological processes, artificial lungs, diagnosis of several diseases, etc. In this investigation, the entropy generation phenomenon with applications of activation energy and heat source/sink has been numerically evaluated. The porous disk with uniform rotation about fixed axis accounted the flow. The Nield’s constraints for the concentration profile are implemented. The thermal aspect of Bejan number and entropy generation phenomenon is addressed to reduce the energy loss. The modeling based on such flow constraints results nonlinear expressions for which numerical outcomes via Keller Box technique are computed. The importance of parameters for the velocity change, heat transfer phenomenon, concentration profile, entropy generation, and Bejan number is addressed. The summarized results convey that azimuthal velocity declined with viscoelastic parameter. The increasing rate of entropy generation is noticed for the viscoelastic parameter and Hartmann number, while both parameters present a reversing behavior against Bejan number. The Bejan number enhanced via concentration and temperature difference parameters.
