Journal ArticleDOI
6-7-Dimethoxy-4-methylcoumarin suppresses pro-inflammatory mediator expression through inactivation of the NF-κB and MAPK pathways in LPS-induced RAW 264.7 cells.
Kil-Nam Kim,Hye-Won Yang,Seok-Chun Ko,Yeong-Jong Ko,Eun-A Kim,Seong Woon Roh,Eun-Yi Ko,Ginnae Ahn,Soo-Jin Heo,You-Jin Jeon,Weon-Jong Yoon,Chang-Gu Hyun,Daekyung Kim +12 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that DMC exerts its anti-inflammatory effects in RAW 264.7 cells through the inhibition of LPS-stimulated NF-κB and MAPK signaling, thereby downregulating the expression of pro-inflammatory mediators.
Antimicrobial Property of Chitosan and its Oligosaccharides for Development of Functional Fish Feed to Inhibit Growth of Pathogenic Bacteria Causing Flounder Fish Diseases in Aquacultural Farm

TL;DR: This chapter deals with some of the useful components from marine algal processing by-products and their application.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phloroglucinol and dieckol isolated from Ecklonia cava suppress impaired diabetic angiogenesis; A study of in-vitro and in-vivo.
Jin Hwang,Hye-Won Yang,Yu-An Lu,Jun-Geon Je,Hyo-Geun Lee,K.H.N. Fernando,You-Jin Jeon,BoMi Ryu +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the antiangiogenic effects of phloroglucinol (PG) and dieckol (DK) on endothelial cells treated with a high concentration of glucose to mimic angiogenesis were evaluated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ishophloroglucin A, Isolated from Ishige okamurae, Alleviates Dexamethasone-Induced Muscle Atrophy through Muscle Protein Metabolism In Vivo
Hye-Won Yang,Se-Week Oh,Dong-Min Chung,Min Suk Seo,Shin Jae Park,You-Jin Jeon,Kyung-A Byun,BoMi Ryu +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, Ishige okamurae extract (IO) and Ishophloroglucin A (IPA) were evaluated in mice with Dexamethasone (Dexa)-induced muscle atrophy.
