Journal ArticleDOI

Heterogeneous selective oxidation catalysts based on coordination polymer MIL-101 and transition metal-substituted polyoxometalates

TL;DR: In this article, the MIL-supported polyoxometalate (POM) catalysts were characterized by elemental analysis, XRD, N2 adsorption, and FT-IR-spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Selective oxidation of methanol to form dimethoxymethane and methyl formate over a monolayer V2O5 /TiO2 catalyst

TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed mechanism for the oxidation of methanol on vanadia catalysts is discussed, which involves a reversible reduction of V 5+ cations, indicating that vanadia lattice oxygen participates in the oxidation via the classical Mars-van Krevelen mechanism.
Journal ArticleDOI

In situ FTIR Study of the Adsorption of Formaldehyde, Formic Acid, and Methyl Formiate at the Surface of TiO2 (Anatase)

TL;DR: In this paper, the catalytic properties of TiO2 (anatase) in the reactions of formaldehyde oxidation and formic acid decomposition are examined, and a flow of a formaldehyde-containing mixture at 100°C, H-bonded HCHO, dioxymethylene species, bidentate formate, and coordinatively bonded HCHO are observed on the TiO 2 surface.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ce-silica mesoporous SBA-15-type materials for oxidative catalysis : Synthesis, characterization, and catalytic application

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of cerium content on the catalytic activity of a mesoporous material was investigated in the presence of a fine CeO2 crystallite, showing that the d100 and unit-cell (a0) parameter increase with the increase of Cerium content up to 2% in SBA-15.
Journal ArticleDOI

Activity and sulfidation behavior of the CoMo/Al2O3 hydrotreating catalyst: The effect of drying conditions

TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of drying condition of the CoMo/Al 2 O 3 catalyst prepared using citric acid as a chelating agent on the sulfidation behavior and on the catalytic activity to hydrodesulfurization of straight run gas oil (SRGO) was investigated.
