Modeling the fate of ionizable pharmaceutical and personal care products (iPPCPs) in soil-plant systems: pH and speciation.

TL;DR: In this paper , a model was developed to simulate the pH-dependent speciation and fate of ionizable pharmaceutical and personal care products (iPPCPs) in soils and their plant uptake during the application of reclaimed wastewater to agricultural soils.

Notice of Retraction Food Security, Human Health and Soil Quality

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors discuss the comprehensive meaning of soil quality in the area of soil fertility quality, soil environmental quality and soil health quality, illustrate the close relationships among soil quality, food security and human health, and conclude with a series of soil-quality restoration and management measures including ecological engineering technologies for rehabilitation and reconstruction of degraded soil ecosystem, soil heavy metal pollution remediation (bioremediation, physical rehabilitation, chemical restoration and microbial remediation) and pesticide utilization and management.
