A review on properties of fresh and hardened geopolymer mortar
TL;DR: In this paper, the properties of the geopolymer mortars including fresh performance (workability, setting time, and temperature of fresh mortar), physical properties, mechanical properties (compressive strength, tensile strength, elastic properties, flexural performance, bonding behavior, and fracture behavior), durability properties (acid resistance, resistance to elevated temperature, frost resistance, water absorption, and shrinkage properties) and microstructure analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cracking resistance and mechanical properties of basalt fibers reinforced cement-stabilized macadam
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of tests studies have been carried out to evaluate the potential impact of basalt fibers on mechanical performance (compressive strength, flexural strength), fracture energy and anti shrinkage properties of cement-stabilized macadam, which is a kind of popular semi-rigid base and subbase composite material.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mechanical properties and meso-microscopic mechanism of basalt fiber-reinforced recycled aggregate concrete
TL;DR: In this paper , the macro-micro-meso-mechanical properties of basalt fiber-reinforced recycled aggregate concrete (BFRAC) at different ages were analyzed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of mechanical properties of PVA fiber-reinforced cementitious composites under the coupling effect of wet-thermal and chloride salt environment
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the mechanical properties of polyvinyl alcohol fiber-reinforced cementitious composites (PVA-FRCC) under the coupling effect of wet thermal and chloride salt environment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Single and Synergistic Reinforcement of PVA Fiber and Nano-SiO2 on Workability and Compressive Strength of Geopolymer Composites
TL;DR: In this article , an investigation of the workability and compressive strength of geopolymer composites was carried out through a series of experiments, such as slump flow test, consistency meter test (CMT), and compressed strength test, to clarify the interaction mechanism among superplasticizer (SP), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) fiber, nano-SiO2 (NS), and geopolymers, thereby improving the properties of engineered composites.
