Journal ArticleDOI

Identification of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium deficiencies in rice based on static scanning technology and hierarchical identification method.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used static scanning technology to collect images of a rice sample's fully expanded top three leaves and corresponding sheathes and extracted 32 spectral and shape characteristic parameters using an RGB mean value function and using the Regionprops function in MATLAB.
Journal ArticleDOI

Reconstructing Historical Land Cover Type and Complexity by Synergistic Use of Landsat Multispectral Scanner and CORONA

TL;DR: This study explores the relationship between CORONA texture—a surrogate for actual land cover type and complexity—with spectral vegetation indices and texture variables derived from Landsat MSS under the Spectral Variation Hypothesis (SVH) such as to reconstruct historical continuous land covertype and complexity.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nitrogen diagnosis based on dynamic characteristics of rice leaf image.

TL;DR: The results indicate that the changing rates in dynamic characteristics, in particular the shape characteristics of the first incomplete leaf (FIL) and the characteristics ofThe 3rd leaf (leaf color and etiolation indices), expressed obvious distinctions among different nitrogen treatments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Utilization of Machine Vision to Monitor the Dynamic Responses of Rice Leaf Morphology and Colour to Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium Deficiencies

TL;DR: According to the results, higher nutrient supply resulted in a faster leaf extension rate and a lower developing rate of chlorosis, and the influence of N deficiency on leaf growth was the greatest, followed by P deficiency and then K deficiency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Relationship between seed germination physiological characteristics and germination percentages of direct-seeded hybrid Indica rice under low-temperature and anaerobic interaction

TL;DR: In this article , the authors found that low-temperature and anaerobic conditions are two major limiting factors in the germination of direct-seeded rice, and that low temperature is the key limiting factor for seed germination.
