Journal ArticleDOI
Concomitant memantine and Lactobacillus plantarum treatment attenuates cognitive impairments in APP/PS1 mice
TL;DR: It is found that L. plantarum augments the beneficial therapeutic effects of memantine treatment in APP/PS1 mice by remodeling the intestinal microbiota, inhibiting the synthesis of TMAO, and reducing clusterin levels, highlighting intestinal microbiota as a potential therapeutic target to decrease the risk of AD.
Journal ArticleDOI
Geniposide Possesses the Protective Effect on Myocardial Injury by Inhibiting Oxidative Stress and Ferroptosis via Activation of the Grsf1/GPx4 Axis
Yue-E Shen,Xindong Wang,X.-M. Shen,Yue Wang,Shu-lin Wang,Yunyun Zhang,Xiaoming Yao,Yijiao Xu,Ming Sang,J.F. Pan,Yuanhua Lin,Qian Zhou,Jianping Shen +12 more
TL;DR: This study revealed the pathogenesis of oxidative stress and ferroptosis associated with myocardial ischemia, and indicated the antioxidant and anti-ferroPTosis effects of GEN on preventing my Cardiomyocyte injury by activating the Grsf1/GPx4 axis, serving as a potential therapeutic target.
Journal ArticleDOI
