Desulfurization of Diesel Fuel by Extraction with [BF4]−-based Ionic Liquids

TL;DR: In this paper, Dongying and Liaohe diesel fuels with [BF4]−-based ionic liquids were systematically investigated, and the results showed that the absorption capacity of an ionic liquid for the S-compounds in diesel fuels relies on its structure and its size.
Journal ArticleDOI

Densities and Viscosities of the Quaternary System Mannitol-Sorbitol-D-Glucose-H2O and Its Ternary Subsystems at 298.15K

TL;DR: In this article, the applicability of the simple density equation and viscosity equation in the semi-ideal solution theory to nonelectrolyte solutions were measured for the quaternary system mannitol-sorbitol-D-glucose-H 2 O.
Journal ArticleDOI

Decomposition Kinetics for Formation of CO2 Hydrates in Natural Silica Sands

TL;DR: In this article, the decomposition kinetics for formation of CO 2 hydrates in 90 cm 3 wet natural silica sands were studied systematically using the depressurization method at the temperatures ranging from 273.2 to 277.2 K and the pressures from 0.5 to 1.0 MPa.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prediction of Activity Coefficients for Mixed Aqueous Electrolyte Solutions from the Data of Their Binary Solutions

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple equation relating the activity coefficient of each solute in mixed electrolyte solution to its value in binary solutions under isopiestic equilibrium was tested by comparison with the experimental data for the 18 electrolyte solutions consisting of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 electrolytes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Viscosities of ternary systems Y(NO3)3+La(NO3)3+H2O, La(NO3)3+Ce(NO3)3+H2O,La(NO3)3+Nd(NO3)3+H2O and their binary subsystems at different temperatures

TL;DR: In this paper, the applicability of simple equations for the viscosity of the mixed solutions was tested and the predictions agreed well with measured values, indicating that the examined electrolyte solutions could be related to those of their constituent binary solutions.
