Journal ArticleDOI

Results of a 28-month chronic inhalation toxicity study of formaldehyde in male Fisher-344 rats

TL;DR: Male F-344 rats exposed by inhalation to gaseous formaldehyde at 0.3, 2, and 15 ppm 6 h/day, 5 days/week for 28 months showed significant decrease in food consumption and body weight, and 20 rats died by the 24th month.
Journal Article

Reproductive and developmental toxicity studies of toluene. II. Effects of inhalation exposure on fertility in rats.

TL;DR: Subacute exposure to a high level (2000 ppm) of toluene vapor elicited mild toxic changes in the kidneys, thymus, and reproductive organs of males, indicating toxicity of toLUene to the male reproductive system in vivo for the first time.
Journal ArticleDOI

Toluene inhalation induced epididymal sperm dysfunction in rats

TL;DR: Results indicate that high concentrations of toluene may directly target sperm in the epididymis and disrupt sperm maturation in male Sprague-Dawley rats.
Journal ArticleDOI

Benzene-induced hematopoietic neoplasms including myeloid leukemia in Trp53-deficient C57BL/6 and C3H/He mice.

TL;DR: The detection of AMLs in heterozygous Trp53-deficient mice, even in the C57BL/6 strain, implies that benzene may be a potent inducer of AMls also in mice with some strain differences.
Journal ArticleDOI

An improved dispersion method of multi-wall carbon nanotube for inhalation toxicity studies of experimental animals

TL;DR: A method to effectively remove the aggregate/agglomerates and enrich the well-dispersed singler fibers in dry state without dispersant and without changing the length and width distribution of the single fibers is reported.
