Use of Hierarchical Cascading Technique for FEM Analysis of Transverse-Mode Behaviors in Surface Acoustic-Wave Devices
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that HCT enables rapid calculation for successive simulation with scanning design parameters, and it is shown that GPGPU can accelerate HCT calculation dramatically, especially for 3-D cases discussed in this article.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
A 4-bit switched-line phase shifter based on MEMS switches
TL;DR: This paper presented a 4-bit switched-line phase shifter based on the metal-contact SPDT RF MEMS switches that is suitable for taking place of mechanical phase shifters used in base station.
Journal ArticleDOI
Study of a 10 MHz MEMS oscillator with a TPoS resonator
TL;DR: In this paper, a low phase noise 10MHz oscillator based on a thin-film piezoelectric-on-silicon (TPoS) resonator is reported, where a novel design of interdigital electrodes is introduced to improve both the insertion loss and quality factor of the resonator.
Journal ArticleDOI
Application of hierarchical cascading technique to finite element method simulation in bulk acoustic wave devices
Xinyi Li,Xinyi Li,Jingfu Bao,Yulin Huang,Yulin Huang,Benfeng Zhang,Benfeng Zhang,Tatsuya Omori,Ken-ya Hashimoto,Ken-ya Hashimoto +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the use of the hierarchical cascading technique (HCT) for finite element method (FEM) analysis of bulk acoustic wave (BAW) devices was proposed.
Proceedings ArticleDOI
Quantum Leap in Simulation Technologies for Radio Frequency Surface and Bulk Acoustic Wave Devices Gifted by Hierarchical Cascading Technique
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe how the hierarchical cascading technique (HCT) expanded capabilities of FEM-based numerical simulation in radio frequency surface and bulk acoustic wave (SAW/BAW) devices.
