Self‐Supported Cobalt Phosphide Mesoporous Nanorod Arrays: A Flexible and Bifunctional Electrode for Highly Active Electrocatalytic Water Reduction and Oxidation

TL;DR: In this article, the growth of CoP mesoporosity nanorod arrays on conductive Ni foam through an electrodeposition strategy is reported, which can be directly employed as a bifunctional and flexible working electrode for both hydrogen and oxygen evolution reactions, showing superior activities as compared with noble metal benchmarks and state-of-theart transition-metal-based catalysts.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ordered mesoporous carbons: citric acid-catalyzed synthesis, nitrogen doping and CO2 capture

TL;DR: In this paper, ordered mesoporous carbon materials (OMCs) were synthesized with the use of citric acid as an environmentally friendly catalyst to catalyze the polymerization of resorcinol/formaldehyde resin.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and CO2 capture properties of mesoporous carbon nitride materials

TL;DR: Mesoporous carbon nitride composites with a partly graphitized structure are synthesized by using mesoporous silica SBA-15 as a hard template and ethylenediamine and carbon tetrachloride as precursors, possessing uniform mesopore size of 6.3-nm, high surface area of 278-338m 2 /g, and high nitrogen content of 20.5-24.9% with abundant basic sites as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Integrated Ni 2 P nanosheet arrays on three-dimensional Ni foam for highly efficient water reduction and oxidation

TL;DR: In this article, the Ni2P nanosheet arrays directly grown on three-dimensional (3D) Ni foam (NiP/NF) are fabricated by hydrothermal treatment of metallic Ni foam with H2O2 solution and subsequent phosphidation with NaH2PO2.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fabrication of mesh-like bismuth oxide single crystalline nanoflakes and their visible light photocatalytic activity

TL;DR: In this article, mesh-like bismuth oxide single crystalline nanoflakes were synthesized via a Bismuth oxalate precursor way, and optical properties of the materials were investigated by UV-vis absorption.
