Phase composition and tribological properties of Ti–Al coatings produced on pure Ti by laser cladding

TL;DR: In this article, the laser cladding Ti-Al coatings were analyzed with X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Xray energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) and it was found that with the increase of Al content, the diffraction peaks shifted gradually to higher 2 θ values.

TL;DR: In this article, the surface hardness and wear resistance of the TiC/Ti3Al IMC coatings increased with the increasing volume fraction of TiC powder, and the wear resistance was improved by the formation of these IMC coating.

Preparation and characterization of reactively sintered Ni3Al-hBN-Ag composite coating on Ni-based superalloy
