Investigation Corrosion and Wear Behavior of Nickel-Nano Silicon Carbide on Stainless Steel 316L

TL;DR: In this paper, an attempt to apply composite coating by co-deposition coating and assessing, enhancement the Nickel coatings features, by adding the particles of silicon-carbide to solution of electrodeposited.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Impact of Using Different Ratios of Latex Rubber on the Characteristics of Mortars Made with GGBS and Portland Cement

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) as an alternate solution to get rid of them and profit from them concurrently, in this process, GGBS is used as cement substitute material to enhance mortar characteristics.
Journal Article

Finite Element Analysis Of CFRP Effects On Hollow Reactive Powder Concrete Column Failure Under Different Loading Eccentricity

TL;DR: In this paper, a numerical investigation of hollow core columns made using reactive powder concrete (RPC) confined with a circular carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) tube was presented. But the authors did not consider the performance of the columns.
Journal ArticleDOI

Experimental investigation on applying waste iron filings in the engineering fields for protection the environment from contamination

TL;DR: In this paper, four distinct percentages of filling iron were applied to the mixture of concrete in the present investigation to measure the variance that can be achieved after 28 days as per normal in compression and tensile concrete strengths.
Journal ArticleDOI

Impact of high volume GGBS replacement and steel bar length on flexural behaviour of reinforced concrete beams

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the flexural behavior of concrete beams with ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) and found that OPC with 40 percent GGBS with 500 mm steel bar length can be used in reinforced concrete specimens as it shows comparable results relative to control mixtures.
