Equivalent circuit model for array of circular loop FSS structures at oblique angles of incidence
TL;DR: In this article, a simple equivalent circuit model of circular loop shaped frequency selective surface (FSS), predicting the plane-wave transmission characteristics for oblique angles of incidence, was introduced.
Journal ArticleDOI
Efficient Evaluation of Green's Functions for Lossy Half-Space Problems
Zaker Hossein Firouzeh,Guy A. E. Vandenbosch,Rouzbeh Moini,Seyed H. Hesam Sadeghi,Reza Faraji-Dana +4 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new technique is developed to evaluate the Sommerfeld integrals arising from the problem of a current element radiating over a lossy half-space, and the annihilation of the asymptote and the branch-point singular behavior of the spectral Green's function is used in this technique.
Journal ArticleDOI
Time-domain MoM for the analysis of thin-wire structures above half-space media using complex-time Green's functions and band-limited quadratic B-spline temporal basis functions
Mohsen Ghaffari-Miab,Zaker Hossein Firouzeh,Reza Faraji-Dana,R. Moini,Seyed Hossein Hesamedin Sadeghi,Guy A. E. Vandenbosch +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, the transient response of a thin wire in the presence of a half-space is calculated with a new formulation of the Method of Moments (MoM) in time domain, based on a novel Time-Domain Mixed Potential Integral Equation (TD-MPIE), using complex-time Green's functions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Design of a randomised arrangement AMC surfaces for RCS reduction based on equivalent circuit modelling
TL;DR: In this paper, a thin and broadband meta-surface for both mono-static and bi-static radar cross-section (RCS) reduction is presented, which is able to operate in a large range of incident angles and different polarisations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Analytical approach for compact shorting pin circular patch antenna
TL;DR: In this article, an analytical approach for calculating resonant frequencies of a circular microstrip antenna loaded with a shorting pin in arbitrary position is presented based on the cavity model, where two scattered waves are used to modify the electric field of the antenna in the presence of the pin.
