Cost-effectiveness of everolimus-eluting versus bare-metal stents in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction: An analysis from the EXAMINATION randomized controlled trial.
Nadine Schur,Salvatore Brugaletta,Angel Cequier,Andrés Iñiguez,Antonio Serra,Pilar Jiménez-Quevedo,Vicente Mainar,Gianluca Campo,Maurizio Tespili,Peter den Heijer,Armando Bethencourt,Nicolás Vázquez,Marco Valgimigli,Marco Valgimigli,Patrick W. Serruys,Zanfina Ademi,Matthias Schwenkglenks,Manel Sabaté +17 more

Emma Foster,Zanfina Ademi,Nicholas Lawn,Zhibin Chen,Patrick W. Carney,Danny Liew,Terence J. O'Brien,Patrick Kwan +7 more

A systematic review of cost-effectiveness analysis of screening interventions for assessing the risk of venous thromboembolism in women considering combined oral contraceptives
Zanfina Ademi,Zanfina Ademi,C. Simone Sutherland,Joris van Stiphout,Joëlle Michaud,Goranka Tanackovic,Matthias Schwenkglenks +6 more
TL;DR: The reviewed studies were too dissimilar to draw a firm conclusion on cost-effectiveness analysis about universal and selective screening in high-risk groups, and the new emerging diagnostic tools for identifying women at risk of developing VTE highlight the need for more studies that apply the latest evidence and utilize robust methods for cost- effectiveness analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Journal ArticleDOI
Productivity burden of hypertension in Japan.
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors developed life table models to estimate total deaths, years of life lived, and productivity-adjusted life years lived (a newly developed metric for quantifying the burden of acute and chronic health conditions on work productivity) among Japanese individuals with hypertension, with simulated follow-up until age 65 years.
