Corrosion protection of polypyrrole electrodeposited on AZ91 magnesium alloys in alkaline solutions
TL;DR: In this paper, the polypyrrole is electrodeposited on AZ91 magnesium alloys in alkaline solutions, and the morphology and compositions are characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and auger electron spectroscopy (AES) respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microstructure and properties of magnesium alloy processed by a new severe plastic deformation method
TL;DR: In this article, a new severe plastic deformation (SPD) method called C shape equal channel reciprocating extrusion (CECRE) was developed to fabricate fine grained AZ31 Mg alloys.
Journal ArticleDOI
Corrosion behavior of pulse-plated Zn–Ni alloy coatings on AZ91 magnesium alloy in alkaline solutions
TL;DR: Zn-Ni alloy coatings were plated on AZ91 magnesium alloy using a pulse potential electrodeposition method after zinc immersion and Zn-Cu plating as discussed by the authors, and they provided very good corrosion protection function to inner AZ 91 magnesium alloy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Zn–Ni alloy coatings pulse-plated on magnesium alloy
TL;DR: In this article, the current density, frequency, t on/t off and time have effects on thickness, morphology, Ni content, microhardness and anticorrosion of Zn-Ni coatings.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of ultrasonic power on the structure and composition of anodizing coatings formed on Mg alloys
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the influence of ultrasonic power at a constant frequency of 25 kHz and two various acoustic power values, 280 and 400 W, on the structure and composition of anodizing coatings formed on magnesium alloy AZ31.
