The embodiment of the invention provides a method and device for displaying a page to a user through reinforcement learning, and the method comprises the steps: firstly, responding to a request of a first user for accessing a first page, obtaining user characteristics of the first user including a user portrait characteristic and a user context characteristic; secondly, according to a display strategy, mapping the user characteristics to a first page layout in a plurality of selectable page layouts formed for the first page; and then, displaying the first page to a first user in the first pagelayout; further, obtaining operation information of the first user on the first page with the first page layout, and determining a reward score displayed on the page according to the operation information; then, at least according to the reward score, updating the display strategy by adopting a reinforcement learning algorithm for page display.
