Compression Responses of Preform in Vacuum Infusion Process

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the compression responses of different fabrics under dry or wet conditions, and the main factors affecting the compression response under in-vestigation include, the vacuum pressure, the loading and unloading repeatability on the preform, the layup design, the kinds of fabrics, and resin viscosity Besides, some internal factors such as nesting and elastic recovery of fibers, lubrication of resin, friction between fibers, and so on, are also studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

A study of the electromagnetic properties of Cobalt-multiwalled carbon nanotubes (Co-MWCNTs) composites

TL;DR: In this paper, the electromagnetic properties of pure MWCNTs composites and Co-MWCNT composites were studied, and the results showed that the pure mwalled carbon nanotubes composites with a filler concentration of 2% had an intense absorbing peak at 15.20 GHz, where the highest reflection loss (R ) reached −21.41 dB.
Journal ArticleDOI

The dispersion of SWCNTs treated by dispersing agents in glass fiber reinforced polymer composites

TL;DR: In this article, the dispersing agents such as Volan and BYK-9076 were employed to treat SWCNTs to improve their dispersion in the glass fiber/epoxy (GF/EP) composites.
Journal ArticleDOI

Studies of Electromagnetic Properties of MWCNTs after Electroless Plating with Co-Fe Alloy

TL;DR: In this paper, a method of electroless plating is utilized to deposit Co-Fe alloy on the surface of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), and electromagnetic parameters of MWCNTs with and without plating are discussed.
