A vehicle brake system is provided with a brake ECU serving as controlled hydraulic brake force control means for executing a controlled hydraulic brake force control to decrease the rotational speed of an electric motor when at least both of a regenerative brake force and a controlled hydraulic brake force are being applied. The brake ECU decreases the rotational speed of the electric motor when the gradient of a target controlled hydraulic brake force being a controlled hydraulic pressure command value given to a hydraulic brake device is downhill or is not present. Thus, the pressured fluid supplied from a pump driven by the electric motor to be supplied to wheel cylinders of a vehicle is decreased to enhance the efficiency in utilizing the regenerative energy which an electric motor for driving the vehicle has in dependence on the stepping state of a brake pedal.

Vehicle brake system

A braking apparatus for a vehicle includes a hydraulic brake apparatus generating a basic hydraulic pressure so that a basic hydraulic braking force is generated at wheels, the hydraulic brake apparatus generating a controlled hydraulic pressure so that a controlled hydraulic braking force is generated at the wheels, a regenerative brake apparatus causing a regenerative braking force to be generated at any of the wheels, and braking force replacement controlling means for gradually replacing the regenerative braking force with the controlled hydraulic braking force while braking during which at least the regenerative braking force is applied for a purpose of achieving a braking force replacement control to ensure a total braking force required for the wheels by decreasing the regenerative braking force at a gradient within a predetermined range and by increasing the controlled hydraulic braking force in response to the decrease of the regenerative braking force.

Braking apparatus for vehicle

A vehicle includes: an engine; a planet gear mechanism connected to an output shaft and a drive shaft of the engine; a first motor connected to the planet gear mechanism; a second motor which can input and output a power to/from the drive shaft; and a battery for passing power to the two motors. The vehicle is controlled so that when the battery temperature Tb is below a threshold value Tbref, the intermittent operation of the engine is inhibited and the vehicle travels while the requested torque is outputted to the drive shaft, which is accompanied by battery temperature increase control. When the battery temperature Tb is equal to or above the threshold value Tbre and the engine water temperature Tw is equal to or above a threshold value Twre, control is performed so that the requested torque is outputted to the drive shaft, which is accompanied by the intermittent operation of the engine. When the battery temperature Tb is equal to or above the threshold value Tbref but the engine water temperature Tw is below the threshold value Twref, control is performed so that the intermittent operation of the engine is inhibited and the vehicle travels while the requested torque is outputted to the drive shaft, which is accompanied by continuation of the battery temperature increase control.

Vehicle and its control method

A pump body includes a cylindrical first case for housing the plurality of rotary pumps, a second case located coaxially with the first case, and a disk spring located between the first case and the second case. In addition, a fixing means located at an entrance of the concave portion of a housing presses the second case in the insertion direction of the pump body and fixes the second case.

Vehicular brake device

When a brake ECU is started up rapidly by a brake pedal operation, the brake ECU executes a depression force fluid pressure mode. When the control pressure detected by a control pressure sensor becomes smaller than a switching determination threshold value, the brake ECU determines that an operation of returning a brake pedal is being performed, and switches the braking mode from the depression force fluid pressure mode to a normal control mode. Accordingly, even when the operation of a stroke simulator has been started, no uncomfortable feeling is given to a driver. Further, even when the operation of returning the brake pedal is not being performed, the braking mode is switched from the depression force fluid pressure mode to a simulator non-operation control fluid pressure mode when a vehicle starts to travel. Consequently, desired braking force can be rapidly generated.
