TL;DR: In this article, a self-seeded WDM-PON communication system employing modulation averaging is presented, where an extended-cavity resonator with modulation-averaging reflector at the remote node improves the link margin and allows a wider range of bias conditions at the transmitter.

Analytic Approximation of In-Body Path Loss for Implanted Antennas
